Wow… We’ve known that Valentine’s Day and indeed the month of February is one of our busiest months of the year for BOTOX & Fillers. But… I had no idea that nearly 80% of woman would prefer these treatments to other more conventional gifts. And ladies, more and more men are getting Botox & Fillers. In fact men now make up 46% of our phone calls, Internet & email requests for anti-aging treatments so buying Botox & Fillers for men is a great gift as well. In fact, make it a couples visit…
Also interesting is that while woman love getting Botox & Fillers they prefer not to have skin tightening or laser hair treatments for Valentine’s Day. My guess is that because it takes 9 months and six or so treatments for Laser Hair Removal and once popular skin tightening treatments such as Thermage have a well-earned reputation for being very painful that women prefer more of an instant gratification & something not so painful. Our Exilis Elite patients know that’s not the case and we are constantly told it’s not a painful treatment at all.
The month of February is filling up quickly for Livia and Dr. LaGrasso as well. While not mentioned in this article his top two most requested procedures for Valentine’s Day are a Brazilian Butt Lift & Mommy Makeover.

With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, men are picking their brains over the perfect way to say ‘I love you’.
But forget wilting flower bouquets, cringey chocolates and kitschy teddy bears, because most women have only one gift on their hit list this year.
Nearly 80 per cent of women want Botox as their present this February – with 78 per cent saying they’d be ‘impressed’ if their partner treated them to it, according to research.
Stuck for gift inspiration this year, men? Women want botox for Valentine’s Day – and 78 per cent would be ‘impressed’ if you gave them a voucher for it.
When researchers asked women how they’d feel if their partner bought them botox, 78 per cent said they’d be impressed, 15 per cent said they would be mildly pleased yet concerned, and the remaining seven per cent said they would be slightly offended or not happy.
The study also looked at which cosmetic treatments women would like to receive for Valentine’s Day – with dermal fillers, botox and tooth whitening topping the list.
Much-coveted: Dermal filler and botox treatment tops the list of ideal Valentine’s Day gifts this year, and men are even seeking advice on how to gift it.
Men have even been scouring the net for advice, with one cosmetic surgery and treatment review website seeing a rise in enquiries from loved-up men seeking advice on whether they should respond to their partners’ anti-ageing concerns.
New research reveals the number one question from men was: ‘Which aesthetic treatments can I give as a Valentine’s Day gift without offending her?’.
Speaking about the results, a spokesperson for Good Surgeon Guide, who carried out the study, said: ‘While our general opinion is that gifting cosmetic surgery or aesthetic treatments is not good idea, it cannot erase the fact that people still feel compelled to give and receive them.’
We recommend that men who choose to give cosmetic treatments for Valentine’s must understand how the gift may make their partner feel, especially if it’s a surprise.
‘If at all possible, it’s best to speak with their partner about the treatment and make sure it is something they want.’
